May 6, 2010 - Central Oregon

I decided to fly down to Oregon to visit my buddy Cosmo. Alaska Airlines got me as far as Seattle and then I flew Horizon to Redmond. The Redmond/Bend Airport is quiet and small, just the way I like it. I woke up the next day to SNOW!!!

Janurary 22, 2010 - Kennecott

Kennecott Mine is an abandoned mining camp inside of Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. Closed in 1938, it produced almost $200 million worth of copper, and continues to be a landmark community (and some say a haunted place). From Anchorage, you drive north along the Glen Highway to Glennallen at Mile 187.
